I hope you’re all having a fantastic day!  Today, I’ll be reviewing Taking the Reins by Katrina Abbott.  I found this book in the free series starter on iBooks and I thought it was the perfect book to help me get back into reading.  I couldn’t put it down once I picked it up!

Breaking Rules by Tracie Puckett - Book Review

Breaking Rules Book Cover
How’s it going everyone! Today, I’m going to be reviewing Breaking Rules by Tracie Puckett.  I had seen this book several times while looking for new books to read and I decided to give it a try.  Now, I don’t know why but I have this weird thing about reading books that involve twins.  This might be because I’m a twin and sometimes, to make a story interesting, authors portray that all twins or many twins hate each other.  Which is not true I’m extremely close with my twin, but I will admit, the author did pretty good job at writing them in this story.

Crazy Love by Emma Keene - Book Review

Crazy Love Book Cover
How’s it going everyone! Today, I’m going to be reviewing Crazy Love by Emma Keene.  I think I previously found this book in Free Series Starters or advertisements from My Book Cushion YA Lit. on Twitter.  Now I had seen this book before, but it took me a while to get around to reading it because I had some other books on my TBR list.  Anyways, let’s jump right in.

Runes by Ednah Walters - Book Review

Runes Book Cover
How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Runes by Ednah Walters.  I found this book a while ago, don’t remember when, but I had seen this book several times on iBooks and I had to give it a try.  When I read the description when it mentioned ancient mythology and that immediately caught my attention.

The Watchers by Lynnie Purcell - Book Review

The Watchers Book Cover
How’s it going everyone! Today, I’ll be reviewing The Watchers by Lynnie Purcell.  I don’t remember how I found this this book specifically, but it caught my interest one day. The description of this story had talked about fallen angels and a war that their kind was thrown into and that automatically drew me in.  I was extremely curious about these fallen angels and why these dark creatures would want the children of fallen angels gone.

Crush by Lacey Weatherford - Book Review

Crush Book Cover
How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Crush by Lacey Weatherford.  This was a book that was suggested to me by Jordan, my twin, who had already read this story and she knew that I would like it.  This book, with a couple of others, was the start of my book addiction.  She actually told me a little bit that happened in the book before I read it, not like a big spoiler or anything, but it made a lot more sense throughout the story, but I will keep that to myself so no one thinks I’m giving away a big spoiler.  Anyways let’s get started!

Never Forgotten by Kelly Risser - Book Review

Never Forgotten Book Cover
How’s it going everyone!  Today, I’ll be reviewing Never Forgotten by Kelly Risser.  Like many other books, I had come across this one several times and I only read about halfway through the description and I was really excited to read this one.  In my mind at first, I thought this book was about mermaids.  But nope, I was wrong.  If I had read the entire description and not just the first two paragraphs, it’s about a girl discovering that she's something from an Irish/Scottish folklore.  I accidentally guessed that she was a mermaid.  Whoops!  But that doesn’t matter I still loved the book and I’ll tell you why down below.

Saving Wishes by G. J. Walker-Smith - Book Review

Saving Wishes Book Cover
How's it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Saving Wishes by G.J. Walker-Smith.  Now I found this book in the Free Series Starters, like normal, on one of my book binging spree.  I had seen this book before when I would search through iBooks and I finally got around to reading it.  Let me tell you, there is only one word that can describe this book, wow.  Let me tell you why down below.

Enchanted Hearts by Belinda Boring - Book Review

Enchanted Hearts Book Cover
How’s it going everyone! Today, I’m going to be reviewing Enchanted Hearts by Belinda Boring.  I read this book about a year ago.  Since I’m a fan of Lacey Weatherford’s work, at the end of one of her books, she gave suggestions for two other authors, Belinda Boring being one of those authors.  At that moment in time, I wanted a love story that didn't involve having the main character be the hero.  From the very first page I was hooked and I actually finished it in one day.

The Trouble with Flying by Rochelle Morgan - Book Review

The Trouble with Flying Book Cover
How’s it going everyone! Today, I’ll be reviewing The Trouble With Flying by Rochelle Morgan.  I had seen this book several times when I visited iBooks store and I decided to give it a try because the author of this book is also the author of The Faerie Guardian.  Funny story too, when I was looking for the description of this book I almost couldn’t find it because she actually changed the book to her pen name, Rochelle Morgan.  She updated this on August 24th and I’m writing review early, like four days after the update, so I was kind of confused for a couple of minutes on why I couldn’t find it.  Enough of my bantering, how about I tell you my opinion of the story.

The Trouble with Spells by Lacey Weatherford - Book Review

The Trouble with Spells Book Cover
How's it going everyone!  Today, I’ll be reviewing The Trouble with Spells by Lacey Weatherford.  I had read her previous book Crush, which will appear later on my blog, and as many of you know I love witchcraft.  When I got this book, I got the free version of the first book, just to see if I would like to read the rest of the series because this was the start of me becoming a bookaholic.  Then when I was decided to get the next book in the series, I ended up getting the collectors pack on iTunes instead; this included books 1-5 in the series, the Book of Shadows: Fire & Ice, and a sneak peek of the squeal to this series called Coven which was already released at the time I bought this pack.  I'm so glad I got this when I did because its no longer available in the iBooks store.  Anyways, lets get continue with my review.

Dangerous by Alycia Linwood - Book Review

Dangerous Book Cover
How’s it going everyone!  Today, I’ll be reviewing Dangerous by Alycia Linwood.  I remember finding this book in the “Readers Also Bought” section on iBooks.  It was just after I finished reading BlackMoon Beginnings, and I was hooked from the very first page.  It had a Avatar: The Last Airbender feel to it because of the character’s powers, which really reeled me in.

Dark Promise by Julia Crane and Talia Jager - Book Review

Dark Promise Book Cover
How’s it going everyone!  Today I’ll be reviewing Dark Promise by Julia Crane and Talia Jager.  I'd seen this book several times in iBooks and I finally got around to reading it.  Now I have a funny story that I have to include in my brief introduction for the book.

The Faerie Guardian by Rachel Morgan - Book Review

The Faerie Guardian Book Cover
How's it going everyone!  Today, I’ll be reviewing The Faerie Guardian by Rachel Morgan.  Back at the end of February, I was on a book hunt for some new books to read.  Now I found this one and Marking Time at the same time, but I had gotten them maybe two or three, days before The Syndicate came out  (My Bad!).  So when I finished reading The Syndicate and Marking Time, I jumped right into this one.  This book peaked my interest because it involved faeries and a new world filled with magic.

Remembrance by Michelle Madow - Book Review

Remembrance Book Cover
How’s it going everyone!  Today, I’ll be reviewing Remembrance by Michelle Madow.  Like I had said in my November Rain review, I had followed a bunch of authors on twitter, some of them that I had followed were connect to other author’s pages, and I knew that I would be able to find some really good reads.  Anyways, her book was one of the first that I read when I was introduced to Twitter back on January 24 (Yes, I remember the exact day I got my twitter account for some strange reason).  I got this book on iBooks when it was previously available there, but it's no longer sold there.  I will give you guys some other links so you can go check out this book if you're interested.  Let's get started with my review!

🍂Happy Autumn! 🍂

How’s it going everyone!  Today I’m just doing a little update about some random things.  First off, Happy First Day of Autumn everyone!  I love the season autumn!  But when you live in Arizona, autumn is basically non-existent and you’re still stuck in 100+ degree temperatures until November.  It just jumps from summer to an Arizona winter, which is basically spring, every year; it’s the only seasons we get here.  Anyways, enough of my ranting, lets get on with my updates.

Mindspeak by Heather Sunseri - Book Review

Mindspeak Book Cover
How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Mindspeak by Heather Sunseri.  I found this story in the free series starter, like many other book that I’ve reviewed here.  Now it took me a while to read this story because I found a couple of other books that I wanted to read and finish first.  And with all of the books that I had gotten on my book binge, I completely forgot about this one.  It wasn't until I went searching through my iBooks library when I realized that I never finished this one.  But I finally came back to this book and I’m really glad I finished it.

Grasping at Eternity by Karen Amanda Hooper - Book Review

Grasping at Eternity Book Cover
How’s it going everyone. Today, I’m going to be reviewing Grasping at Eternity by Karen Amanda Hooper. When I saw this book, it looked really interesting and I knew I had to read it because this book talks about reincarnation and these types of stories always interest me.  I have always believed in reincarnation and it’s a very fascinating topic of interest for me.  I, of course, really wanted to see how the author would portray reincarnation and I can say I was not disappointed.

Reading Slumps & How I Get Rid of Them | My Bookish Thoughts #1

How’s it going everyone!  Today, I’m going to be talking about something a little bit different...  It’s not another book review or an update, which I haven’t done in a while, but a new kind of post.  I’m calling it, My Bookish Thoughts.  I feel like this is a way I can express my own positive thoughts, opinions, and maybe some tips on some book related topics.

Crystal Magic by Madeline Freeman - Book Review

Crystal Magic Book Cover
How's it going everyone!  Today, I’ll be reviewing Crystal Magic by Madeline Freeman.  I found this story in the “more books like this” section and I knew I needed to read it.  The more witchcraft books that I find, the happier I get.  As many of you might be able to tell, I love all things that involve magic, especially witches.

BlackMoon Beginnings by Kaitlyn Hoyt - Book Review

BlackMoon Beginnings Book Cover
How's it going everyone!  I hope you're having a great day.  Today, I’ll be reviewing BlackMoon Beginnings by Kaitlyn Hoyt.  I found this book when I went on a book binging spree.  Basically this is when I go and search around the iBook store and gather a collection of books that look interesting to me and this was one of them that I had found.  I did however find this book a year ago, so you can already probably tell for future post, I go on a lot of book binges. Let’s get started.

Just a Few Inches by Tara St. Pierre - Book Review

Just a Few Inches Book Cover
How's it going everyone! Today, I’ll be reviewing Just a Few Inches by Tara St. Pierre.  I got this book from the author herself when she responded to my survey.  She was the first person who used my survey and I was extremely excited.  I didn’t know that I would be getting a book to review so fast, since I had barely just set the survey up.  A big thank you to her since she was the first person to reply to my survey and for giving me a copy of the book.  Let’s begin with my review!

Perception by Lee Strauss - Book Review

Perception Book Cover
How's it going every. Today, I’ll be reviewing Perception by Lee Strauss.  I’ve already suggested some of her other stories that involve time travel, which is in the Clockwise series.  Now this one is a dystopian novel and since the future has always fascinated me, I knew this would be a good read.  Let’s jump right in!

Happy 4th of July & Updates

Happy 4th of July everyone!  Today is probably going to be a small post, with a couple little updates that I've done to my blog.  First off, it's the holiday so everyone who's going to be lighting off fireworks, like myself, please be safe and have fun!

Saving Angel by J.L. Weil~ Book Review

Saving Angel Book Cover
How's it going everyone! Today, I’ll be reviewing Saving Angel by J.L. Weil.  I don’t remember how I found this author’s story, but I think it was in my recommendations in iBooks, not 100% sure though.  I might have found it in the Free Series Starters in the Young Adult section a long time ago, last summer...

All I remember, I was reading this and watching Big Brother Season 17’s live feeds when I found this book, which is probably why I don’t remember how I found it.  If you read a lot of iBooks, like myself, I always like searching through the related because its kind of a helpful way of saying, “You liked this story, here’s another you might like too.”  Anyways, let’s get started!

Deep Blue Secret Book Cover

Beautiful Demons by Sarra Cannon - Book Review

Beautiful Demons Book Cover
How's it going everyone! Today, I’ll be reviewing Beautiful Demons by Sarra Cannon.  When I found this book, it didn’t capture my interest, at first.  Now, for people who have read it, don’t get mad.  I thought it was about vampires and werewolves, and it is not typically the kind of stories I read.  Until one day, I took the time to read the description.  To my surprise, I was extremely wrong.  It involved witchcraft, and I love books that involve magic and witches!  So of course, I knew I had to read it.  This also taught me a very important lesson about judging a book before I read the description and a sample of the story.  Anyways, lets jump right into my suggestion.

Like Clockwork by Lee Strauss - Book Review

Like Clockwork Book Cover
How's it going everyone!  I hope you're doing well.  Today, I’ll to be reviewing Like Clockwork by Lee Strauss.  Now normally I wasn’t going to do books that were involved in a series because I didn’t want to bombard everyone with the same book series over and over again, but this is the exception.  Like Clockwork is a companion novel that can be read alone without even reading Clockwise.

Marking Time by April White - Book Review

Marking Time Book Cover
How's it going everyone!  I hope you're having a great day.  Sorry for not posting this sooner, but hopefully during the summer I can get out several more posts than I have in the past three months.  Today I’m going to be reviewing April White’s, Marking Time from the Immortal Descendants series.  At the end of February, I was searching for new books to read in the iBook’s store and this one, in the Young Adult Free Series Starter, stood out to me the most.  As soon as I read the description I instantly knew that I would be hooked on this book.  If you follow me on Twitter, I mentioned that I had read this book and loved it.

The Syndicate by Sophie Davis - Book Review

The Syndicate Book Cover
How's it going everyone!  I hope you're all having an amazing day.  Today, I’ll be reviewing The Syndicate by Sophie Davis.  Now, I know I said I was going to do a different book, but I changed my mind and decided that I wanted to do this book first and The Keatyn Chronicles: Stalk Me book later.

Since I already was a Sophie Davis fan, I pre-ordered this book instantly since I almost bought it in November before they extended the release date.  Besides, who doesn’t like people from the future traveling back into the past to the 1920s era?  Hopefully I’m not the only.

Talented by Sophie Davis - Book Review

Talented Book Cover
How's it going everyone! Today, I'm going to be reviewing Talented by Sophie Davis. I know it's been a while since I have posted a book review, but if you read my “About Me” page, I explain there that there will get to be a point where I'll be very busy, not post, and kind of disappear from blogging temporarily.  Anyways, with that all said and done, how about I start the next book review.

Anon. by Diamond McKinney - Book Review

Anon. Book Cover
How's it going everyone!  Welcome to my very first official book review.  Today, I'll be reviewing Anon by Diamond McKinney.  My twin, Jordan, actually first discovered Diamond on her YouTube channel and we both became huge Anon fans, her YouTube name is diamonddx.  Once Jordan found out about Diamond publishing her own book, a few years ago for the Anon sims character's, we knew that if it was anything like the show, then we were going to love the books.  Let's jump right in with my review.
