My Christmas 2020 Book Haul

Hello friends, Christmas has come and gone (as sad as it is to say goodbye to the festive season) and I thought it would be fun to share my Christmas Book Haul! I've never done one of these types of posts before, but it's always fun to write a new and different type of post like this. This year, I got/bought so many books! (Yes, I gifted myself books because why not?). So today, I'm sharing my Christmas book haul!

Thief of Lies by Brenda Drake - Book Review

Hello friends! Today, I’ll be reviewing Thief of Lies by Brenda Drake. I had this book on my TBR for a long time and I decided that it would be the perfect time to pick this book up. I loved the idea of this story and I knew it was just the book I needed to read.

Crave by Tracy Wolff - Book Review

Hi friends. It's been a little bit since I've been able to sit down to write a review, with several of them currently way overdue.   So today, I’ll be reviewing Crave by Tracy Wolff. A while back, I'd seen quite a few people talking about Crave before it came out. Since I wanted to change up my reading a little, back in April and I decided to pick up Crave and see for myself if it was worth the hype.

It's finally here! The final month of 2020, December.  I never would have thought that 2020 would have turned out the way it did with its up's and down's, but we finally made it to the end. We're less than thirty days away from the New Year.  Now, it's time to prepare for 2021!  However, before I can do that, here's what I was up to in November.

Echoes Between Us by Katie McGarry - Book Review

Hello friends! Today, I’ll be reviewing Echoes Between Us by Katie McGarry. Back in April, I thought it would be good to switch up the genres that I was reading and decided to pick up this book on a whim, especially since the premise of the main character seeing ghosts definitely intrigued me.

Monthly Wrap-Up – October 2020

Happy November all! Another month has flown by and I was able to do get quite a few things done.  My reading slump has finally started to subside after I spent almost half of the year not wanting to read, my blogging is still on the slow side but slightly improving, and I've been able to spend more time focusing on doing things that I enjoy.  It's been wonderful to not have to force myself to get something done and to just take my time without having to rush. Monthly Wrap-Up – September 2020

Happy October! Last month was quite busy to say the least. Sadly, I didn't have any time to get any blogging done like I had hoped, but what can you do when classwork takes up most of your day? I'm hoping since two of my five classes end in early October, I'll have some time to actually get some reading/blogging/bookstagram done this month, but only time will tell... However, I did make some progress on reading and might have had a mini book haul last month as well. Anyways, let's look at what I did last month!

I was so excited to win this giveaway and as soon as I received this book in the mail, I immediately dived in and started reading!

How is it already September... The whole month of August flew by and we're already four months away from 2020 being over. As much as I wished to get a few blogging type things done this month, it did not work out at planned as I got sidetracked with a few other things that happened. Hello all! Today, I’ll be reviewing When Wishes Bleed by Casey L. Bond. If there is one thing that immediately catches my attention when it comes to choosing my next read, magic and witchcraft is definitely a win for me. I stumbled across this book several months ago and as soon as I read the description, I knew I needed to pick this story up.

Happy August! I can't believe how quickly summer's flown by. It feels like yesterday when I was finally free of college homework.  Even though I have about 3 weeks left before classes start, I'm hoping I can get a few things done before then. For now, I want to look back at July since it was filled with good books, tons of k-dramas, games, and blog posts!

Bloodleaf by Crystal Smith - Book Review

Happy Friday! Today, I’ll be reviewing Bloodleaf by Crystal Smith. This book had been on my TBR for quite a while and there's a funny story that goes along with it. When I wrote my 11th Waiting on Wednesday post last year, I didn't realize that the book Greythorne was the second book in a trilogy and that Bloodleaf was the first book. Obviously, I knew I needed to correct my error as soon as possible. So back in March once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down!

Today, I’ll be reviewing The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller.  I’d been extremely anxiously when it comes to wanting to read this book ever since it was first announced. The premise of the story was definitely very interesting and I heard several people refer to this book as a Slytherin romance, which I previously didn’t know what it truly meant until now.

Happy June! Where did the month of May go? One minute, I'm finishing up my classes and the next thing I know, one month of my summer break has already flown by. Happy April everyone! March was probably one of the most... eventful months that we've all had this year. Only time will tell what the next few months will look like, but let's not focus too much on that noise. Last month I had spring break! It slightly help me get back into my blogging mojo, even though I did procrastinated and push off writing some posts. I saw this book over on Jessica's blog at Booked J. I really intrigued by the idea of the story and I knew that I needed to read it. How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing  Killing November by Adriana Mather.  This was the final book that I was able to read in 2019 and I'm so glad I saved this as my last book of the year.  I previous read her debut book, How To Hang a Witch back in 2018, I knew I needed to pick this one up as soon as possible.

Happy February 1st! Today, I'm starting a new kind of monthly post on the blog. I'm going to be doing monthly wrap ups! I've been wanting to do them for a while since I love reading everyone else's monthly wrap up posts, but I felt like I wasn't doing enough to put it all into a blog post. My Top 5 Reads of 2019

Happy Monday!  I hope you're all having a lovely day.  Today, I wanted to share my top 5 books I read in 2019.  I read a ton of great books last year and I was honestly surprised to see that I loved a lot of the books I chose to read last year.  I feel like this year was the year of growth in my reading because I decided to try something new whether it was a new genre or retellings!  This was such a challenge because there were so many books that I loved reading last year!  So, somehow, I was able to narrow it down to my top 5.  Let's jump right in.

My 2019 Reading Goal in Review

Today is the start of the New Year!  I can't believe it's actually 2020.  Where has the time gone!  I'm honestly shocked that so much time has flown by.  This year, my reading felt like it was all over the place.  In the beginning, I was reading so slowly that I honestly thought I wouldn't make it to my original intended goal of 40, which in late March, I lowered my goal down he 30.  Surprisingly, not only did I make my intended goal a month early, I was able to get in a few more books in before the year was up!  Let's jump in so you all can see the books I read this year in 2019!
