Hello bookish friends! Today, I’ll be reviewing The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh. When this book was first talked about in 2019, I had seen a lot of hype surrounding this book over on book twitter. So for Christmas last year, I bought myself the first two books in the series and decided to give them a chance and see if they were really worth the hype.
Hello friends! I'm back with another book review to share! Today, I’ll be reviewing The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Last year, I'd seen this book mentioned several times on Book Twitter and I thought it would be the perfect book to read next. I love books that involve mysteries and since I wanted something different to read, in addition to the premise of this story, it intrigued me and I knew I had to pick it up! Also, just look at the gorgeous cover, it's absolutely stunning!

Hello friends! Today, I’ll be reviewing Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco. I've never been as excited for a new release book as I was for this new series. I'm a huge fan of her first series, Stalking Jack the Ripper, and I knew if I had loved those stories, then I was sure to love this new one as well! Not only did I decided to pre-order one of the many exclusive editions available, I also signed up for the pre-order goodies too, which are absolutely gorgeous. Now, how about I discuss my thoughts on this new series!
Happy April! This year has definitely been a lot nicer when it comes to balancing school, reading, and gaming. However, I have let my blogging slack a little bit this month. After getting my school work done, I've enjoyed relaxing with either a game or reading my books! But I'm hoping to catch up in April since I'll have more time! Hello friends! I cannot believe The Little Book Spy is 5 years old! It's insane to think that I created this blog over half a decade ago. To be honest, where did the last 5 years go? Time has flown by so fast I can't keep track of the days. This year was a very interesting year, to say the least, for my blog. It was a roller coaster that has taught me so much when it came to making my blog a place that I enjoy writing on, sharing the books that I've loved, and creating my own little space to share my one passion for reading and writing. As soon as I heard the announcement that the cover for Gods and Monsters was being revealed, Friday last week (February 5th), I'd been guessing and imagining what the cover would look like! After seeing this cover, it is one of my most favorites that I've seen so far and it matches the trilogy perfectly. Hello bookish friends! Today, I’ll be reviewing Blood & Honey by Shelby Mahurin. Ever since I read Serpent & Dove last year, I’d been dying to get my hand on the second book in this trilogy and as soon as it was released, I immediately started reading.
Happy February! We're already one month into the New Year and for me, it's been going pretty well so far. My college classes started up again, but I'm near the finish line for my degree which is excited and equally just as scary at the same time. Anyways, this month I was able to get some reading and blogging done! I'm thankful I was able to get some things done before I had to shift my focus back to college, which has been filled with tons of homework. But enough about that, let's jump right into my overview of January!
Happy Wednesday friends! My reading this month has been pretty decent if not better than I expected, especially with college occupying most of my time. However, I've noticed my reading has changed formats, from eBooks to Hardcover, which has been surprising and I've noticed that it's made my reading increase and more enjoyable. At the moment, I'm currently on track this month for my reading goal and hopefully I can keep this up! Anyways, let's jump in with my WWW Wednesday!

Happy New Year! It's official 2021, a new month, a new year and that means it's time to look back at 2020, at least for the month of December. I was able to accomplish a ton last month, enjoy my time when it came to Christmas break for reading and gaming, but I was also able to get a few bookish themed things done and begin planning for the new year.
