Monthly Wrap-Up – April 2021

Happy May! It's been a little while since I've been able to post. April was way busier than I thought it would be, but I was able to spend some time doing things that I enjoyed! This post may be slightly different than my previous monthly wrap-ups. I tried to write something brief for some sections throughout the post, so I hope you all enjoy reading those! I did a ton of fun things last month, so let's dive right into my April Monthly Wrap-Up!

Books I'm Reading

  1. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (66% Through the Book)
When everyone told me that Six of Crows was amazing, I completely underestimated how much I was going to love this book! However, I somehow put myself into a reading slump... again. And I was doing so well with my reading too! I feel like I'm repeating last year where I can't focus on my books and instead I'm binge watching tv shows (mainly k-dramas). I'm really hoping this doesn't last too long because I have a lot of books that I'd love to read this year I'm hoping things change in May!

TV Shows I Watched

  1. The Liar and His Lover (K-Drama)
  2. Tale of the Nine-Tailed (K-Drama)
  3. Where the Stars Land (K-Drama)
  4. Melting Me Softly (K-Drama)
  5. Shadow and Bone
This month I decided that I wanted to finish up watching The Liar and His Lover since I didn't get the chance to finish it back in August. Which then led to me watching other k-dramas like, Tale of the Nine-Tailed since it was one of my most anticipated. I'm glad that I was finally was able to find the time to start getting through my watch list, however, it came at a cost to my TBR since I from one k-drama to the next. I'm also watching Shadow and Bone now that it's finally out and now I'm loving it so far! I'm hoping to write my own review on the TV series with my thoughts, so I'm definitely looking forward to writing that once I've finished.

Games I Played

  1. Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper
  2. Assassin's Creed Valhalla
  3. Moebius: Empire Rising
  4. Sherlock Holmes: The Awakended - Remastered
  5. Clue/Cluedo (w/ Friends)
  6. Garden Paws (w/ Jordan)
  7. Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy
  8. Dead by Daylight (w/ Friends)
  9. Assassin's Creed Unity
This month I was able to play quite a few games, especially when I finished my Spring semester. Recently, Jordan and I have been playing through all/most of the Sherlock Holmes games in preparation for the newest game, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One. For most of the Sherlock Holmes games created by Frogwares, this is our first play though for most of the older ones. So far, we finished playing Nemesis (which was last month). We had started originally play this game several years ago, but we got stuck and the game CD broke, but thankfully the Steam version works perfectly. Then, we moved onto Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper, which is definitely a game I'd be a little weary of because the murders are gruesome to say the least... And currently we started Sherlock Holmes the Awakened, which we've gotten possibly halfway through and it's very interesting at the moment, in addition to it being a little weird.
