Monthly Wrap-Up – July 2022

Hello everyone! It's been a little bit since I've been able to post. I wish I had more time to dedicate to blogging like I used to, but sadly, I don't. Anyways, July feels like forever ago. It went by so quickly and I can't believe we're hitting the last 4 months of 2022.  To think that we're fast approaching 2023 is mind boggling. Let's jump into my July 2022 Monthly Wrap-Up.

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. When it comes to writing blog posts, I have definitely had very little time to sit down to write much of anything, but I'm trying! Since it's already been a month since my previous post, I think it's time for another monthly wrap-up.

Monthly Wrap-Up – May 2022

June is almost over, but summer is here and I'm excited to get some summer reading in. May was definitely all over the place and with so many crazy things coming up, my blogging plans got shoved to the side since a lot of it was out of my control, in addition I haven't had much time to sit down at my computer to write. Since I'm tardy on my Monthly Wrap-Up, again... It's always better late than never to share my current reads, the TV shows I watched, and the games I played. So let's get started!

Monthly Wrap-Up – April 2022

We're four months into 2022 and April was definitely one of my busiest month yet! Even though I'm close to halfway to my reading goal, I'm so proud of my reading progress for this month! I was able to get through so many books. In addition, I fell down the K-Drama rabbit hole, as per usual, so I ended up watching those in addition to playing some games live on Twitch with my twin sister, Jordan. So, here's my April Monthly Wrap-Up!

Monthly Wrap-Up – March 2022

We're four months into 2022 and wow... I can't believe four months have already slipped by! The days feel like they're growing shorter instead of longer and I've been so much busier than I originally anticipated. I meant to upload this in early April, but it's better late than never. My blog has definitely been slacking, but there is only so much that I can do! I might not be able to blog like I used to, but I still enjoy documenting what I was able to do throughout the month, via my Monthly Wrap-Up posts. So, let's jump in with my March Monthly Wrap-Up!

Can't Wait Wednesday #28 - These Twisted Bonds by Lexi Ryan

Another Wednesday is upon us and that mean's it's time for another Can't Wait Wednesday! Today, I wanted tot talk about the sequel to These Hollow Vows, These Twisted Bonds by Lexi Ryan. I read These Hollow Vows as my first book of 2022 and I absolutely loved it! It gave me ACOTAR vibes and it definitely did not disappoint as my first read. When I found out that there was another book and that it was a duology, I was so excited to go back into this book world! Monthly Wrap-Up – February 2022

Happy March! With spring right around the corner, I'm definitely looking forward to the warmer weather and all of the upcoming books being released as we get farther into the year. As much as it's nice to have a change in the Arizona weather and get some cooler/colder temperatures, I'm looking forward to some nice spring temperatures because I'm not a fan of the cold. But with another month closed, it's time for my February wrap-up! Let's jump right in!

Can't Wait Wednesday #27 - Kingdom of the Feared by Kerri Maniscalco

 

Happy Wednesday friends! Today, I'm back to talk about a new book from one of my current favorite series! The final book for the Kingdom of the Wicked series, Kingdom of the Feared by Kerri Maniscalco! If you follow my Bookstagram or Book Twitter, you may have seen on February 5th that I shared the early release of the book cover. After a fellow bookstagrammer shared on her own Instagram Stories that they found the cover prematurely released on Goodreads early, I couldn't believe it. As much as some people hate spoilers, I did not mind in the slightest, I was so excited to see the new cover! But if you missed it, then I'm here to catch you all up on the latest news for the series that I currently know.

Before I get too far into my post, be warned that the summary and my thoughts about Kingdom of the Feared will most likely have spoilers from the first two books in the trilogy: Kingdom of the Wicked and Kingdom of the Cursed. Happy February y'all! We're done with the first month of the New Year and I cannot believe it! Even though it felt slow for a large portion of the time, it sure did fly by quickly near the end. As February rolls around, not only am I going to look back at January, I have some exciting news to share too! So let's get started!

Hello friends, happy Wednesday! Today, I'm back with another Can't Wait Wednesday and I am so excited for this one! Back in 2020, I picked up Echo North by Joanna Ruth Meyer. As of recently, Joanna has been sharing exciting news for her spin off book, set int he same world as Echo North, called Wind Daughter, which is set to come out in Spring 2022. If you're not familiar with Can’t Wait Wednesday, this is a bookish meme that spotlights upcoming book releases books that we're excited for.

Cast in Firelight by Dana Smith - Book Review

Hello book friends! Today, I’ll be reviewing Cast in Firelight by Dana Swift. Back in late 2020, I came across this Cast in Firelight on Twitter when someone I follow shared this gorgeous book cover. As soon as I read the description, I immediately had to add it to my TBR and I was able to pick up the hardcover in March 2020 and dove in. Over the last few years, fantasy has become my go-to genre for the last few years and this book definitely fit my exact idea of a fantastic read.

Beat the Backlist Reading Challenge 2022

Have you ever completed a reading challenge? Do you see these types of bookish reading challenges floating around social media like Book Twitter, Bookstagram, or another form of social media? I've tried to do them in the past, but I wasn't very successful at them in the beginning. However, this year, I'm rolling up my sleeves and stepping up to the plate to complete the Beat the Backlist Reading Challenge 2022. The Beat the Backlist Reading Challenge is hosted by Austine Decker. This reading challenge has been going on for several years and I'm so happy to be able to join this year!

My 2022 Reading and Book Blogging Goals

Happy New Year! With another year behind us all, this means that I'm looking forward to 2022 and what's to come this year. As many of you may know, most normal people make "resolutions" for things that they would like to achieve in 2022.  However, book lovers wait to annually set up our Yearly Reading Challenge! That's right, I'm here to talk about my 2022 Reading Challenge and my Book Blogging Goals, my current plan to accomplish it, and potentially what books I'd like to read throughout the year.  Without further ado– let's get started!

Happy New Year! I cannot believe today is the start of a new chapter and a New Year. The year 2021 has definitely been a wild ride or hectic, to say the least, with things going on in my life both bookish and non-bookish.
