Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a fantastic day. Today, I'm brining something new to the blog called, Can't Wait Wednesday! This is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Tressa over at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and talk about upcoming book releases that we're excited for! This was originally called Waiting on Wednesday that was created by Jill at Breaking the Spine. I've seen several other bloggers do this bookish meme, and I thought it would be fun to do it as well! With so many books being published, I thought it would be fun to talk about the one's that I'm excited for. I'm going to do this every other week, so I don't run out of books too quickly, so let's jump right in!

Summary:
For as long as she can remember, Tova has lived among the Svell, the people who found her washed ashore as a child and use her for her gift as a Truthtongue. Her own home and clan are long-faded memories, but the sacred symbols and staves inked over every inch of her skin mark her as one who can cast the rune stones and see into the future. She has found a fragile place among those who fear her, but when two clans to the east bury their age-old blood feud and join together as one, her world is dangerously close to collapse.
For the first time in generations, the leaders of the Svell are divided. Should they maintain peace or go to war with the allied clans to protect their newfound power? And when their chieftain looks to Tova to cast the stones, she sets into motion a series of events that will not only change the landscape of the mainland forever but will give her something she believed she could never have again—a home.
My Thoughts on The Girl the Sea Gave Back:
Earlier this year, I read Sky in the Deep and I loved the story. When I saw news of this book being released, I knew I needed to add this to my TBR immediately. Also, look at that cover, it's gorgeous! I can't wait for it to be released!
