How's it going everyone! I hope you're all having a fantastic day so far! Today, I have some exciting news to share with you all. Jordan and I had asked this back in mid-March and have since then hinted at it with a few posts. Until we finally announced what we were doing on Twitter, which I guess makes it official as of March 29, but here is the news that we want to share with you all in a more detailed post...
Jordan and I, if you may or may not know, share a Twitch channel called DJTwinGamers. Originally, we used this account to watch our favorite streamers like PatrckStatic, Gar_Bluemoon, Foxtrot44, Jpw03, and many more gaming streamers that we follow. We created the joint account about two years ago in order to chat with other viewers and watch the gaming company, Her Interactive, play their own Nancy Drew games, during their streams. What's funny is we were technically only going to use the account to watch/host accounts that we followed. Now, after lots and lots of time, thought, and setup process, we have decided to start streaming too. Which to be honest, is a little scary for us!
However, I never actually thought we would be doing this because of our shyness. (And I thought creating a twitter and blog would be the scariest thing I've done so far in my life, well besides wanting to publish my stories.) Anyways, we have both agreed that we want to try to stream at least once.
Our first game that we are going to stream is Nancy Drew: The Creature of Kapu Cave. This was technically our first Nancy Drew game and the game that got us started on our love for video games. Because of our history with gaming, we think this would be a no-brainer for us to stream since this was our first game Nancy Drew game we ever played. We wanted the stream to be a little bit laid back and enjoyable. If you guys like our streams, we can stretch out to other games, like Uncharted, Tomb Raider, maybe some other games like Stardew Valley or one of the other games that we own...? Hopefully everything works well, and we have the support and encouragement to share and play games that all of you will enjoy! Our first stream will be on April 1st, at 3pm Arizona Time. We can all hang out and have a good time solving a mystery!
