The Trouble with Falling by Rochelle Morgan - Book Review

The Trouble with Falling Book Cover
How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing The Trouble with Falling by Rochelle Morgan.  This is the fourth book in the Trouble series that I had gotten back in December 2016.  Some of you may be asking why I skipped reviewing the third book in this series.  Sadly, I won't be reviewing the third book on my blog.  If you're wondering why I jumped from the second book to the fourth book.  I ended up putting the third book in the DNF pile after getting extremely annoyed with the story and the characters.  Anyways, let's jump right in with my review!

About the Book:
Title: The Trouble with Falling
Author: Rochelle Morgan
Release Date:
Series: The Trouble Series #4
Genre: Romance
Pages: 264

My Rating: 4.5/5 ⭐️

Summary:
After the heart-shattering ending of her first serious relationship, eighteen-year-old Sophie has sworn off love. Now that school is behind her, she plans to travel the world and form as few attachments as possible. The only exception: Lex, the artist on the other end of the Internet who chats to her almost every day. A guy she can never lose--since she doesn't actually have him to begin with.

Sophie's plan can start as soon as she's faked her way through her sister's wedding. Pretending to be happy and excited for the next week or two should be easy, right? But that was before Caleb walked onto the scene ... Best man to Sophie's almost-brother-in-law, Caleb is infuriatingly friendly and determined to get a real smile out of Sophie. Forced together through dance classes and wedding-related disasters, Sophie is determined not to like him. And terrified when she ends up failing.

Then Lex suggests he and Sophie should meet, and all Sophie's careful plans for the future begin to unravel. Now the girl who was never meant to fall for anyone must figure out what to do with the two guys tugging at her heart.

My Thoughts:
I really liked this story.  Sophie was a very independent girl and after a heartbreaking past, she was determined that she didn't deserve to be happy.  Now, I didn't find out why she was so heartbroken until almost the very end of the story.  I never expected what was going to happen and it made sense why she was so recluse from everyone, except Lex who she would be a little bit more open with, but not by much.  Caleb, who Sophie meets at the local arts and crafts shop that she frequents, was a very likable character throughout the entire story.  He was a great character that I really enjoyed his personality.  Also, if you've read the first book which I had reviewed October last year, The Trouble with Flying, you might be familiar with Sophie.  That's because Sophie is Sarah's younger sister.  All four books that are in this series, they're based on people who know each other: from Sarah to her best friend, Livi, to Livi's younger half sister, Andi, and Sarah's younger sister, Sophie.  I loved the setting of the story, it made the story seem very realistic and I was able to imagine everything in the story very easily.  This was such a heartfelt story with so much emotion that whenever I'd get a chance to read, I would automatically be reading this book.  I definitely suggest reading this story, if you love contemporary romance stories.  This story will not disappoint.
