Monthly Wrap-Up – June 2022

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. When it comes to writing blog posts, I have definitely had very little time to sit down to write much of anything, but I'm trying! Since it's already been a month since my previous post, I think it's time for another monthly wrap-up.

Books I've Finished

  1. Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim (5 Stars ⭐)
  2. Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber (5 Stars ⭐)
Last month, I was able to finish 2 books. First, I finished the Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim. It was such a cute story and I cannot wait for The Dragon's Promise that comes out in August. Also, I finally dove into my Barnes and Noble Exclusive Edition of Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber. Oh my gosh, I'm kind of glad that I waited to pick this book up so close to the release of The Ballad of Never After because I need the second book so bad! I'm also speculating whether this book series will be a duology or a trilogy. I'm making my guess that it could be a trilogy, but I won't know until my copy arrived in September.

TV Shows I've Watched
  1. Just Between Lovers (K-Drama)
Surprisingly, I only finished one k-drama, which was Just Between Lovers. It was definitely a way different drama that what I had watched in the past. However, I was happy with the happy ending the show did have.

Games I've Played

Steam Next Fest Game Demos I Played

My Played Games:
  1. The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection
  2. Assassin's Creed Odyssey (w/ Jordan)
  3. Nancy Drew Shadow at the Water's Edge (Streamed on Twitch @DJTwinGamers)
  4. Sherlock Holmes: The Silver Earring (Streamed on Twitch @DJTwinGamers)
  5. Meridian 157: Prologue
  6. Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit (Streamed on Twitch @DJTwinGamers)
Steam Next Fest Demos:
  1. Wylde Flowers (Demo)
  2. The Spirit and the Mouse (Demo)
  3. Witchy Life Story (Demo)
  4. The Silent Swan (Demo)
  5. Broken Pieces (Demo)
When it came to games, I played a ton. Some of them are my usual games, but I also was able to get access to some Steam Next Fest Demos that were available from June 13th-20th. There were quite a few cute ones that I found (Wylde Flowers, The Spirit and the Mouse, and Witchy Life Story), while one game (The Silent Swan) took a nose dive when it came to my graphics, which isn't necessarily the games fault since I play a majority of my pc only games on my Mac's Bootcamp side. The only other game that I didn't care for was Broken Pieces because I didn't like the camera, especially if this was supposed to be a RPG game. I would definitely prefer the gamer to be similar to Assassin's Creed or Tomb Raider, but that's just me.

Thank you all do much for reading!
