The 12 Days of Blogmas Tag

The End of the Year Book Tag~ 2018 Edition

Hello everyone!  I hope you're all having a fabulous day. I'm going to be doing a new yearly kind of post as a reflection of the current year and looking forward to the new year with my reading. Originally, I was going to try to write my own kind of tag post that was similar in name, but then I kind of gave up and later I started seeing a few people post this tag, which was kind of what I wanted to do as well.  I saw this tag first over at Destiny's blog, Howling Libraries and several others book blogger's blogs and I thought it would be a good way to look back at 2018 and things that I still want to accomplish before the year is over.  Let's jump right in!

Today, I’ll be reviewing The Heir and the Spare by Emily Albright.  When I was on iBook's Top YA Chart, I saw this book and immediately downloaded a sample of the book.  I've been searching high and low for more royalty like books and I quickly made this book a priority on my to read next list!

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Nothing But Sky by Amy Trueblood.  An author I follow, Abigail Johnson, retweeted the author of the book that said that this book was on sale and I immediately went to go and check it out.  To say the least, after hitting page 9 (ebook format) I quickly bought the book because I was super intrigued and wanted to know the entire story.

The TBR Book Tag

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Model Spy by Shannon Greenland.  I found this book on iBook's Top Charts.  As many of you may or may not know, I love spy books wholeheartedly.  I've tried my hand at writing them and have written my unpublished series, my blog name involves spies (hence the name The Little Book Spy), and I've searched high and low for any spy books that I can read.  When I found this book, I was hooked immediately and extremely interested and I am so glad that I found it.

The Ghost of You and Me by Kelly Oram - Book Review

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing The Ghost of You and Me by Kelly Oram.  I've had this book on my kindle app since late March of this year.  After looking at my excel spreadsheet list that I've started using to keep track of what books I've read, need to read, and other small pieces of info that I use to keep track of for my reading goal this year, I saw this book and I knew that I needed a good contemporary story and this book fit the bill.

On Monday, my college classes have official started, and I thought it would be fun to do a Back to School themed book tag because what better way to say schools officially started than to do something school themed? As a side note, because school has started my schedule is looking busier than I originally thought, which is scary at the moment, but everything will work out in the end. So, based on my time and my already scheduled future posts that I wrote during my break, things might get put on the back burner because homework always comes first. Elsker by S. T. Bende - Book Review

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Elsker by S. T. Bende. You all maybe familiar with another book that I recently reviewed that she also wrote called, Perfekt Order.  I ended up reading these two books one after the other because I loved the authors writing style.  This book was also on my TBR and I figured that if I liked her other book, then I knew that I would like this one just as much!

Perfekt Order by S. T. Bende - Book Review

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Perfekt Order by S.T. Bende. This was a book that I have been wanting to read for a long while now. During one of iBooks Free Book of the Week deals a couple of weeks ago, this book had shown up as one of the free books. I super happy that I was able to get this book and as soon as I finished reading the previous book I reviewed, I immediately started reading this book.

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing By Your Side by Kasie West.  If any of you follow me on twitter, I had tweeted out about trying to resist the urge to purchase another book because I had seen a a fellow book blogger tweet about several ebooks being on sale.  At first, I was doing good to not purchase any other books and trying to read what I already had, then I caved at midnight, May 25th, and bought this book and I was so glad I did.  I read a sample of the story a while back and I was super intrigued about the story, so I kept my eye out for a sale and I finally was able to get another great read.

Embrace by Jessica Shirvington - Book Review

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Embrace by Jessica Shirvington.  I got this book back in early January and this was technically supposed to be the second finished book on My 2018 Reading Goal, but I had put it off to the side to finished reading later.  I realized that during my reading goal this year I needed to go back and read any book that I've started but have yet to finish. I thought it would be great idea, so I picked up this book and start reading again, and I was glad I had.

The Summer We Believed by Shel Delisle - Book Review

How’s it going everyone.  Today, I’ll be reviewing The Summer We Believed by Shel Delisle.  I had seen this book during the summer of 2017 and I had gotten it, along with a few other books, but because of my reading slump, a lot of books ended up getting put on the back burner until I could shake myself of until my winter break.  I did push reading this story off several times after I had tried to read it, but back in February, I decided to finish it because I was almost done with it.

Today, I’ll be reviewing Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally.  I found this book in iBooks top free section and I thought it would be a great read.  When I read the description, the story intrigued me so as soon as I finished Daughter of the Pirate King, which is the book that I reviewed a while back, I immediately jumped into this one.

How to Hang A Witch by Adriana Mather - Book Review

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing How to Hang A Witch by Adriana Mather. I saw this book when I had just started to join the book community on Twitter and just recently on April 2nd I saw that this book was on sale. Now, I had this book in my sights for a while and I think the price has been the same for almost a year, I could be wrong, but that doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that this book contains two things that will always piqued my interest, witches and ghosts. I knew immediately after the first couple of pages I was going to love this book.

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller - Book Review

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller. This was a book that I had seen advertised on October 1, 2016, during Brittany's Book Rambles #BBTC chat and it was on my TBR for the longest while. In early February, I saw that the ebook was on sale and automatically snatched it up. After reading a sample of the chapter from someone’s blog before the book was published, I knew I would love this book without a doubt.

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Letters from a Prince by Victoria Hart.  One night when I was looking through Amazon's top free section, like I normally do when I have time, I saw this book and read the description which automatically made me want to read it.  There was an old iPhone app that I had gotten a few years ago and this book reminded me of and I was already hooked after barely reading the first page.

Senior Week Crush by Maggie Dallen - Book Review

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing Senior Week Crush by Maggie Dallen. I found this book on Amazon in the Top 100 Romance section back in late December. This book had just been published a couple of days earlier when I purchased it and the description of the story really interested me. When I got this book, I did notice that it was the second book in a series, but luckily for me, these books can be read as a standalone. Anyways, let's jump right in with my review.

Happy 2nd Blogiversary to The Little Book Spy

How's it going everyone!  I hope you're all having an amazing day!  Today my blog, The Little Book Spy, is two years old!  I still can't believe it's been two years since I started this blog!  I'm still in complete awe that two years have just flown by.  Because of that, today I wanted to reflect and kind of update everyone on my blog and talk about some things.  I know it's probably not that interesting of a post because it might be similar to something I wrote last year, but I like writing these kinds of post.  It's kind of a reflection of growth and how I want to improve here.  So, I hope you all enjoy!

Today, I’ll be reviewing The Edge of Juniper by Lora Richardson.  I got this book back in early/mid July on Amazon when I was in search of some new reads.  When I saw this book, it really intrigued me and I knew from the little bit that I had read, that I was going to like this book.  Now, I only got around to reading it recently in late December along with a few other books, which will be coming soon, hopefully.  As long as I keep up with my homework and plan accordingly, I’ll be able to finish up a few of the book reviews that I need to complete.  Anyways, let's get on with my review!

How’s it going everyone. Today, I’ll be reviewing The Heartbreakers by Ali Novak.  When I was on iBooks on back in early December, I came across this title on sale.  I had wanted to read this one for a while after seeing it multiple times.  I loved reading contemporary stories so this was just the book I needed to help complete my quest for another great contemporary story to read.  I've been in a contemporary mood for so long, all I've wanted to read recently are cute stories, just like this one.  Anyways let's jump right in with my review!

How’s it going everyone. I know it's late into the month of January, but Happy New Year's to all of you.  Today, I’ll be reviewing When It's Real by Erin Watt.  This was my first book that I finished reading in 2018.  I got this book on New Year's Eve when it was on sale for a really good price.  I did have to search for the description of the story because it just mentioned it's release date only when I purchased it from iBooks, so I had to go to Amazon to search for it before I bought the book, but after reading the description, I was super interested in the story.
